Our coffee: Nutty-chocolaty with berry sweetness and citrus notes

Highland Arabica from Tanzania – directly from our Ukuli Eco Farm. Sustainably grown, carefully hand-harvested, and roasted in small batches in Germany. Ideal for filter and French press coffees, but also suitable for espresso machines and fully automatic coffee machines.

Our coffee comes from the southern highlands of Tanzania – from our Ukuli Eco Farm in the Matengo Mountains, at an altitude of approximately 1,400 meters near Lake Nyasa. This fertile region produces exceptionally aromatic beans. The knowledge of the Matengo people, passed down through generations, shapes our cultivation methods.

Selective hand harvesting:
We hand-pick only fully ripe coffee cherries, ensuring that only the highest quality beans are processed – for a clear, balanced flavor profile.

Sustainable cultivation:
Our organic farm project is based on local, resource-efficient solutions. We produce our own organic fertilizers—e.g., from cow manure and plant residues—and completely avoid chemical additives. Thoughtful planting protects the soil and promotes biodiversity.

Roasting & processing:
The processed beans are roasted in small batches in Germany. This preserves the typical flavors of the Matengo highlands—nutty and chocolatey, fruity, clearly structured, and pleasantly round.
